Length: 3 minutes, 22 seconds
This karaoke version of "CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA" was included on the Japanese LaserDisc release of DragonBall Z Movie 03, "Super Decisive Battle for Earth". The video is a gem in the truest sense, because as far as we know, this is the only place you can find it. It wasn't even included as a special bonus on any of the "Dragon Box The Movies" releases. If you want to sing along, you can find the lyrics here!

Spotlight #019 – GT Video Montage Credit Role Week of March 29, 2009
Length: 4 minutes, 7 seconds
Known to most as the ending to episode 64 of DragonBall GT, it was actually a video montage shown before the actual ending. It's most famous for the long credit role of voice actors and main staff, but unfortunately this version was never shown outside of the TV broadcast. Lucky for us, when the series was re-run on Animax, someone grabbed it!

Spotlight #017 – DAN DAN Kokoro Hikareteku ~ Acoustic! Week of March 15, 2009
Length: 2 minutes, 33 seconds
This song is probably the only reason I got through all of DragonBall GT, and I guess I'm not the only one, as one of the singers is disappointed when he hears they're singing a song from GT. Originally sung by "Field of View", this acoustic version is sung by none other than Kageyama Hironobu, along with Endou Masaaki, Oomi Tomoe, and the duo known as "Psychic Lover". It's simply amazing!

With about a month until the premiere of DragonBall Kai, the first promo was leaked onto the internet via YouTube. Although it is merely a 15 second clip, it will forever be a gem in the DragonBall archives of history.

Spotlight #015 – Kageyama Hironobu ~ Anison! Week of February 15, 2009

This rare Kageyama Hironobu "anison" (Japanese shorthand slang for "anime song") performance of "CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA" features clips from DragonBall Z Moive 13, "Dragon Fist Explosion!! If Goku Won't Do it, Who Will?" Be sure to take a good look at the set... I think the 80's found a home.

Spotlight #014 – DragonBall Goes Korean Week of February 8, 2009
Length: 1 minute, 38 seconds
We headed around the globe (via YouTube) to bring you this gem from South Korea. Their DragonBall opening is a mixture of clips from both the first and second original animations, but it seems to work pretty well. I find it hilarious that they didn't even bother making a new title card, but simply stuck the Korean title right over the orignal.

Spotlight #013 – DragonBall in Deutsch Week of February 1, 2009
Length: 1 minute, 44 seconds
Germany knew they couldn't go wrong by using a tried and true DragonBall opening... the original! They used the original Japanese animation, but of course dubbed "Mystical Adventure!" in German. I can't quite put my finger on it, but for some reason, I really like this opening.

This video is probably one that most people have never seen, unless you frequent YouTube and are specifically looking for it. We have, in our possession, the Arabic DragonBall Z opening animation. Unfortunately, I know almost nothing about the Arabic dub or even in which countries it was aired.

This version was sung by Vic Mignogna, the voice actor of Brolli in the English dub, and is surprisingly easy to listen to, as it follows fairly close to the original Japanese lyrics.
